Now a yearly tradition on the Green Books of the White Downs blog, this is the first version of the 2025 “Upcoming Tolkien books” page. This is a living document and will be updated, edited and expanded as we continue throughout this year and into the next.

Below you’ll find a list of the expected releases for (English language) Tolkien-related material over the course of 2025 and into 2026. The list will change over the course of the rest of the year as new books are announced and released.
Please note: I do not include David Day books, you are welcome to look for those yourselves. He’s a controversial figure within the Tolkien community.
