For August 2024 the Tolkien Trewsday team has collaborated with the Tolkien Society’s Amon Hen team to create weekly themed art prompts for their annual art challenge.

The Amon Hen team are hosting the event via Instagram whilst the Tolkien Trewsday team will focus on Twitter and BlueSky.

The Amon Hen team’s statement on Instagram: 

“We are kicking off our 2024 Amon Hen Art Challenge this year in August. In a small departure from our last couple of art challenges, we have curated weekly prompts instead in collaboration with #TolkienTrewsday on X/Twitter, starting on July 30th. We are delighted to reveal the prompts for this year, and encourage everybody to participate! Whether it's paintings, drawings, poetry or more, just let your creativity soar! We are excited to see what everybody will come up with, and who knows, perhaps it will show up in a future issue of Amon Hen!
