The power of their words (HMD 2018 Remembrance)

On the 27 January every year, the world is asked to remember those lost to genocide. Come together as a community to discover the power of words.

TIME: 8.30pm UK / 21.30 CET or 15.30pm /servertime

LOCATION: Gather at the docks of Celondim. We will be using a quiet location nearby.

EVENT DETAILS

For those wishing to mark Holocaust Memorial Day (27 January) with like-minded fellows as part of a community, a short event will be run near to Celondim, Ered Luin. The theme for 2018 is the “Power of Words”. All are welcome.

OOC DETAILS

I will be marking this day in-game as well as in RL. I have been involved with the promotion of HMD through my workplace for a number of years. Although I am more than happy to mark this day on my own, I very happy to open it to others to attend and join in, if they so wish. I would be grateful for the company!

Please note: this is not a RP event. It will be a short, respectful gathering. The event lead will speak of the importance of remembering, using the Holocaust Memorial Day 2018 theme (“The Power of Words”) as a focus. Others may well wish to also say some of their own words.

All attendees will be given one hope token, to be used at the end of the event lead’s talk.
